Hello all you beautiful people!
Welcome back to the blog space. I am here today with yet another mudra! As I am sitting here writing this, it is currently snowing......so I might really need this mudra in my life right now haha. So again I feel like anytime I talk about a mudra I have to leave the definition below, just in case anyone is unsure of what it is exactly: mu·dra /məˈdrä,ˈmo͞odrə/ noun
And if you want to know even more about mudras and how to use them I did put up a post a few months ago about Prithvi Mudra and went more in-depth there so I will link that post below! But todays mudra is called Buddhi Mudra. Buddhi Mudra How to: Begin by touching the tips of your pinky finger and thumb together, while allowing your other three fingers to stay straight. It's Meaning: The Buddhi Mudra enhances intuitive communication. While elements of fire and water are brought together. Buddhi means intellect or perception, which is why this mudra is known for allowing mental clarity. Pinky Finger: Water and Communication Thumb: Divine Nature and Fire When Used: I love to use this mudra when I need to look inward. So if I need to almost communicate with myself. Maybe I am feeling lost or confused and just need to take any external feelings, and allow myself to take them inwards. Lately I have been using this mudra at the end of my yoga classes, because mental clarity is something everyone can use at any time! Now you try! Allow yourself to come to a nice seated position, hands resting on your knees. Allow your fingers to move into the Buddhi Mudra, taking your pinky and thumb finger together. Now focus on your breath, focus on the feelings you feel while you sit for just one minute or so. After this minute take note of what you felt. Good, bad, nothing?? No matter what the feeling it is valid, and if you continue to enter this mudra into your life, you will eventually get the clarity you desire. I hope you all enjoyed and have a great rest of your day! XOXO, Chandel Patricia :) Prithvi Mudra Post
