Hello all!
I hope each and everyone of you are staying safe and healthy. It is such a wild time to be alive and I know it can be so scary. So I am trying my best to give you content on all my platforms :) If there is ever anything you feel like you need specifically please let me know. I know with everything going on meditating can be a HUGE help, I certainly know it has been for me. Today I wanted to talk meditation and your five senses! If you haven't tried pairing your meditation with each of your senses it truly is game changing. Check it out: 1. Sight: By sight I mean the space you are in when you open your eyes. So having a very calming environment or something you love right in front of you when you open your eyes :) For me having a plant right in front of me or doing my meditation outside is fabulous. 2. Smell: Of course this being a candle or lighting an incense. 3. Hear: There are so many different ways you can use this in your meditations! Try playing some calm meditation music or just relaxing sounds on your phone. You can also go outside and just let the birds, wind, or water be what you hear. 4. Taste: Taste is easiest by having something warm and yummy for yourself before or after your meditation :) So maybe some hot tea or coffee. 5. Touch: Personally my favorite touch is the grass when I can meditate outside. But this can also be a soft pillow under you, or maybe a cozy blanket wrapped around you. Alright so those are all the senses and truly trying to add this somehow into your next meditation will be game changing! I hope you all enjoy and I will talk to you very soon. XOXO, Chandel Patricia :)

Hello all!
Lets talk mudras :) One of my favorite blogs to give you all. Definition is below if anyone is wondering what the heck a mudra is. mu·dra /məˈdrä,ˈmo͞odrə/ noun
Lotus Mudra will be the one we dive into today! How To: Bring your hands to heart center then all the fingers to point to the sky. Allow all of your fingers to fall open except your pinkies and thumbs stay connected. When I Use: When I feel like my heart might be closed off. When I need to let down any barriers I have and to fully be myself. You Try: Come to a seated position. Allow your hands to come to heart center and open into Lotus Mudra. Shoulders away from your ears. Allow your spine to be long and your gaze to be closed. Focusing on your breath. Inhale Exhale Inhale Exhale Inhale Exhale Now feeling your heart open to the universe. Sending love to everyone and everything around you. No more barriers to bring you down. You are your true authentic self. The most beautiful version of you. Thank you all for joining me today :) I hope you all continue to stay safe and healthy. XOXO, Chandel Patricia Vayu Mudra Pushan Mudra Hello all!
Welcome back to the blog space. I hope you are doing well and staying safe. This week will be week 4 for our quarantine and it is wild how it is starting to feel like our new normal :( But we are all in this together and it will not last forever. And on a much different topic haha today we are talking sustainable & minimalism. Sometimes when it comes to becoming a minimalist or even stepping into the stainable world it can be very intimidating! But here are some tips that I used to get started.
Now I do it every six months, if I haven't worn it in the last 6 months to a year then she gone.
However if thrifting isn't your thing, I love the app ThredUp. Its like a second hand clothing store but on your phone.
That way the cycle can continue & you can help some others in need as well. Those are my tips and honestly becoming a minimalist when it comes to clothing has been such an amazing feeling. It just takes away the long decision of what to wear, && not to mention closet space! I hope you all have such an amazing rest of your day. Stay safe. XOXO, Chandel Patricia :) Hello all!
We are all supposed to stay home and quarantine and social distance ourselves from others. It has been so hard being stuck inside the house, and I am sure we are all feeling the anxiety building. Here are some ideas of things you can do while you are stuck at home and have watched all that you can on Netflix :) So Derrik and I talk about how we want to work on Mind, Body, and Soul while we are stuck inside. We might as well work on us while we can't do anything else. Mind: When I think about personally what I plan to do with the 'mind' part of this quarantine I am working on getting Reiki certified! But for you it could be learning something new with websites like Udemy, or even Skillshare, reading a good book, or starting an art project. Body: Of course moving our body is so important. So many fitness studios are talking their classes virtual, or if it is nice in your area hop on your bike, just move your body in a way that feels good to you :) Soul: This one is going to look different to everyone. But for me I plan on sitting on the deck, letting the sun hit my skin, or just being in nature. All we can do while still social distancing! Try to focus on the part that you can do in this quarantine, and what it can do for you. Take time for yourself, and remember to breath, we are all in this together. XOXO, Chandel Patricia :) Hello everyone! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy. Everything around us at the moment is very scary, and also very hard to process. But just know I am here for you all, and if you need anything please don't hesitate to reach out :) Now I thought was the perfect time to bring you a Mindful Meditation, a little piece of quiet for yourself and your mind. So please find a comfortable seated position and enjoy the guided meditation. I hope this brought you some kind of comfort, if only for a moment!
Have a wonderful & safe rest of your day. XOXO, Chandel Patricia Hello loves!
Welcome back to the blog space :) Today we are going to dive right in and talk all about Pushan Mudra. Definition is below if anyone is wondering what the heck a mudra is. mu·dra /məˈdrä,ˈmo͞odrə/ noun
How To: Allow your left thumb to touch the tip of both your middle finger and ring finger. And with your right allow your thumb to touch the tip of your ring finger and pinky finger. And hands rest on your knees. Meaning: Pushan Mudra directs breath through the body, sends energy to the solar plexus, and balances the circular flow in the body! Mantra to use with Pushan Mudra: I allow my breath to guide me. I allow energy to flow through my whole body. I move with the flow of life. Give this mudra a try and let me know what is your favorite mudra?! Have a wonderful rest of your day :) XOXO, Chandel Patricia Vayu Mudra Prana Mudra Hello all!
Welcome back to the blog space. I am beyond excited because as I am writing this I can hear birds chirping outside my window. 60 degrees and sunny today...is Spring actually here?! Also with Spring coming up I feel like this is always a good time to relook at how our new years resolutions have been going. I feel like we can start to leave those goals behind after a few months, but with the warmer weather coming we kind of get a second wind haha. So here are a few tips to help you take a look at those goals and start to achieve them again :) Tip 1: 1,2,3 Go -Ok this tip is actually something I use all the time and have since I was little. It is pretty simple, but if you have a task that you haven't gotten to today, or have been putting off cause.. Netflix! All you do is say 1, 2, 3, and then you get up and do it! It sounds simple because it really is. And is actually an amazing trick. Tip 2: Vision Board: -Did you make a vision board over the new year? If so pull that baby back out and just take a look at the goals you were so passionate about a few months ago! This can help get you back on track. Or maybe you make a new one for some new goals you have. Tip 3: Make Lists - I am a lists type of gal! I like to make a list of what I need done for the week, big and small goals. Sometimes crossing off just a small goal that needed done, will help you then reach those big goals. If you are feeling down or even a little lazy, start with a small goal, then work your way up to the larger task! And that is all of my tips. Let me know below if you have any good tips for reaching those goals. Have a wonderful rest of your day! XOXO, Chandel Patricia :) Hello everyone! It has been way to long that I gave you all a new playlist. Here is one I made a few months ago and that I have been using for gentle yoga classes or even slow flows, but honestly can be used to just chill out. Enjoy :) This playlist is almost an hour!
I realized I had a few duplicates on it, so you might have to add another song at the very end if it is for a class. I hope you all have a great rest of your day. XOXO, Chandel Patricia :) Hello all!
Welcome back to the blog space :) This week is not only the week/month of love, but it is also the first week where it has started to feel slightly like spring. Yesterday the weather had me grinning ear to ear. But on a much different note, lets talk meditation! Today we are going to dive into beginning meditating, and some tips I have for a beginner :) 1. Just Do It: This might seem obvious haha but sometimes the act of actually doing is the hardest. So pick a time at least once this week, and allow yourself to start your meditation journey. 2. Quiet Space: For a beginner it is actually very important to have a quiet space. A spot where you will not get distracted by noise or what is around you. As you progress in your journey you can start to quiet the mind no matter the place. 3. Guided Meditation I have said this before but for a beginner sometimes the best meditation is guided. This just helps you for not allowing your mind to wander too much, and gives you something to concentrate on during the meditation! 4. Start 3-5 mins: When starting out don't think you need to jump into an hour or even 15 mins of meditating. Allow yourself to progress, so ease into it. Start by doing just a quick 3-5 mins :) 5. Breath The last is one of my favorites and is great for anyone no matter the level you are at. Bring your mind back to your breath, anytime it wanders, your breath will guide you back to the present. And there you have it. Five tips to help you on your meditation journey. I hope you all enjoyed and have an amazing rest of the week! XOXO, Chandel Patricia :) Hello all!
It has been a few months since I have given you all a mudra post and that is just not acceptable! Here is another beautiful mudra for you all to try. Definition is below if anyone is wondering what the heck a mudra is. mu·dra /məˈdrä,ˈmo͞odrə/ noun
Ushas Mudra: How to: Allowing your hands to clasp together right below heart center. Women allowing your left thumb to come on top and men the right. When Used: When you feel you need to awaken the body and creativity. This mudra also helps balance hormones and brings pleasure from within. Give it a try during a meditation or even when you are just sitting at home watching Netflix :) Below are some of my other mudra post for you all to try!
